Rintis.ai turns a business's Google Maps profile into a website concept and helps the owner take it online. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use rintis.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to run the service:
- Account details: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your Google profile photo. If you sign up with email, we store your password as a one-way hash, never in plain text.
- Your WhatsApp number, if you give it to us, so we can send you concepts and invoices.
- The Google Maps link you paste, and the public details of that business profile: name, category, address, opening hours, phone number, rating, reviews, photos and website.
- The concepts you create and the choices you make on them, such as theme and layout.
- Billing details on invoices: your name, business name, address and the amounts billed.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser type, stored with your sign-in session to keep your account secure.
How we use it
We use your data to:
- create, save and show your website concepts;
- keep you signed in and protect your account;
- reply to your messages and prepare your website;
- send invoices and keep records of payments.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Services we rely on
Some data passes through other companies so the service can work:
- Google, for Google sign-in and to read business profiles through the Google Maps Places API.
- Anthropic, to write the text of a concept. We send the business's public details and reviews; we do not send your password.
- WhatsApp, when you choose to message us there.
- Our hosting and database providers, which store the data on our behalf.
Each of these handles data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, and one that remembers your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and concepts while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account details and concepts. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as Indonesian tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022), you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. You can change your name and WhatsApp number yourself on the Account page. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Security
Passwords are stored as hashes, connections to rintis.ai are encrypted, and only our team can see customer data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will also tell you by email or WhatsApp.
